For those who came forward.
I’ve never been good with words, so I told her: Cry, cry everything you must cry, so every time you remember him, you won’t cry, you just won’t have more tears for him, you’ll have a memory that will make you happy, a memory that will make you smile. Because I love your smile.
I once read this story about a mother who taught his daughter about heaven, she told her about how beautiful it was, so precious, so gorgeous, so peaceful, so… heaven. With this belief she grew, and one day ran into her mother, hugged her and told her, with words full of love: I wish you were dead!.
I’m not such a great believer of those stories that people repeat, or the ones you find on emails, at least I heard this particular one in the church, it was about some saint, but that’s not the point. I think, for those who has recently lost some close friend, a father, brother, someone you loved, may find lots of sense and understand the story, specially YOU, or specially those who predicates about this afterlife in heaven, not that I’m not a believer.
I know you won’t find relief in this simple words, they don’t mean to do so, they don´t mean to do such a noble work, they just try to show how bad I’m with them, but I hope they make you understand that those who we have lost, are not lost at all, they just came forward.
With love
